On December 8th 2010, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai National Technology Transfer Center (NTTC) of Chinese Academy of Sciences Industrialization Demonstration Base of NingDe was held in NingDe.

Recently, at the invitation of Shanghai Science and Technology Association and Shanghai Communication Society, Prof. Feng Songlin made a keynote speech at "the 8th Academic Conference of Shanghai Science and Technology Association and New Technology Seminar of Shanghai Communication Society ".

On September 19,2010, Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Medium and Long Term Development Plan Seminar was held in Shanghai Academic Activity Center of CAS.

On July19th 2010, Energy Day of 2010 Shanghai Expo, which was jointly organized by Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences and University of Nottingham (UNUK) was successfully held in ZEDPavilion.

On March 2, 2010, Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Formula Racing Development Ltd. (FRD) confirmed their partnership to work on and develop a “Green Energy” race car project.

On Jan. 18, Shanghai National Technology Transfer Center (NTTC) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Shanghai Qishi Technology Industry Development Co., Ltd. (Qishi) signed a strategic collaboration agreement.
