On October.28, Prof. JIANG Mianheng, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences, inspected the construction site of SARI’s labs.

On October 29, 2011, the Strategic Collaboration Agreement between SARI and China Security & Surveillance Technology, Inc. (CSST) was signed in Shenzhen by Prof. FENG Songlin, President of SARI and Mr. TU Guoshen, PresidentChairman of the Board of CSST.

On Oct.21st, a delegation from Institute of Economic and Commercial Sciences(ESSEC) visited SARI. Prof. FENG Songlin, President of SARI received the delegation. Representatives from China Mobile attended the conference.

Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Drexel University today signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Collaboration Agreement to jointly establish the Drexel-SARI Center on Oct.19, 2011.

On September 29, 2011, Prof. JIANG Mianheng, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) inspected labs of two centers of SARI: the Low Carbon Energy Conversion Technology Center and Clean Power Technology Research Center in the East Area of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park.

On September 9 2011, a delegation from the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa, led by Chairman of the Board Francis Petersen and CEO Sibusiso Sibisi, paid a visit to Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

The 2011 Shanghai Jiading Technology Expo was held at Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center from August 25 to 26, 2011. Almost one hundred research institutes and enterprises showcased their high-tech achievements as well as released R & D needs to seek further integration of industry, education and research.

August 23, 2011, Bertrand-Marc Allen, President of Boeing China, and Al Bryant, Vice President of Boeing China, paid a visit to Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SARI-CAS). FENG Songlin, President of SARI, received the Boeing delegation and held a meeting with the visitors.

A delegation from Sinopec Group, led by President FU Chengyu, visited Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI), Chinese Academy of Sciences on August 24, under the accompany of Prof. JIANG Mianheng and Prof. SHI Erwei, Vice Presidents of CAS.

On August 14, 2011, reporting conference for scientific research work was held in SARI to summarize the strategic achievements and make preparation for SARI's qualified acceptance.

August 5, 2011, Paul T. Anastas, the Assistant Administrator for EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) and the Science Advisor to the Agency, paid a visit to Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences (SARI-CAS).

On July 28, 2011, Mr. LI Jinping, Chairman of the Board of Shanxi Lu' An Mining (Group) Co. Ltd. (Lu'An Group) visited SARI and inspected the Low Carbon Energy Conversion Technology Center, which was jointly established by the two parties.
