Companion Microsatellite for Shenzhou VII Flight Mission of SARI is awarded Innovation Prize

2009 International Industry Exposition of China successfully concluded in Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) on November 11. All the awards of this year were unveiled on the closing day when 39 items on exhibition were awarded, with 4 gold prizes, 9 silver prizes, 14 bronze prizes and 12 innovation prizes.
The innovation prizes, which had caught public attention, were awarded to products of originality and creativity which were first exhibited on Industry Exposition of China. The "Companion Microsatellite for Shenzhou VII Flight Mission" invented by Shanghai Microsatellite Engineering Center, which is under Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was not only highly thought of by most visitors but also shortlisted and finally awarded the Innovation Prize.
