International Collaboration Letter of Intent Signed among SARI, UCL and SIWSS

On August 15th, 2010, Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted elaborate discussion with University College London (UCL) and Shanghai Institute of Work Safety Science (SIWSS) in terms of strengthening the academic cooperation in Nano Safety and other fields. Prof. GUO Zhengxiao, Vice President of UCL, Prof XIA Haibo, Director of SIWSS, Prof. JIANG biao and Prof. SUN Yuhan, Vice Directors of SARI, et al, attended the meeting.
Through much discussion among the people present, the three parties signed the tripartite collaboration letter of intent, and identified the fields, form, content and division of the collaboration as well as the next plan.
Prof. GUO Zhengxiao, Prof. JIANG Biao and Prof. SUN Yuhan also held discussion about future cooperation between UCL and SARI. The two parties will take Nano Safety as a starting point, jointly conduct research and development activities in energy and environment and life sciences areas, and collaborate on the cultivation of graduate students.
