Prof. Feng Songlin Made Keynote Speech on Internet of Things

Recently, at the invitation of Shanghai Science and Technology Association and Shanghai Communication Society, Prof. Feng Songlin, Director of Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of Chinese Academy of Sciences, made a keynote speech titled "Development of Internet of Things and the Research and Application of its Related Technology " at "the 8th Academic Conference of Shanghai Science and Technology Association and New Technology Seminar of Shanghai Communication Society ". Altogether over 100 specialists and young scientific researchers took part in the conference.
Prof. Feng exchanged ideas and views with the scientists present in an interactive manner regarding the following aspects: the concept of Internet of Things, its development in our country and policies, the key technologies concerned and prospects of application, its latest development and application process, and the major challenges in its development. Through the combination of words, pictures and videos, Prof. Feng well illustrated the innovative practices and cases of Internet of Things, which was well received by the audience.
