A delegation led by Prof. HUANG Weiguang, Vice President of Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) and Director of Clean Power Technology Research Center of SARI, visited XI'AN SHAANGU POWER CO.,LTD (SHAANGU Group) and STATE SIDA MACHINE BUILDING CO. (SIDA MACHINE ) to inspect the progress of the collaborative projects and discuss further collaboration possibility with the counterpart leadership.
Prof. HUANG visited the headquarters of SHAANGU Group on Jan. 9 and introduced the construction progress of SARI, with the focus on CAS's layout and progress in the R&D of energy technology, to the leadership and experts, including GM CHEN Dangmin, Chief Engineer YE Changqing, R&D Director ZHENG Xiuping, and other. After that, Mr. CHEN Dangmin gave a brief introduction of SHAANGU Group and recalled the wonderful cooperation between CAS and SHANNGU. He promised that SHAANGU Group would continue to assist SARI on completing the ongoing projects and he would pay a visit to SARI this year. Two parties agreed that further cooperation should be enhanced to foster a long-term collaboration. The delegation inspected SHAANGU's manufacturing plant, assembly workshop and experimental workshop in LinTong in the afternoon.
On Jan. 10, the delegation visited SIDA MACHINE under the company of chief economist ZHENG Wu and held a meeting covering SARI's construction progress, background and prospect of the ongoing projects, SIDA MACHINE's history, its technology advantage, equipment storage and especially the progress of the ongoing collaboration between the two parties. Leaders of SIDA MACHINE attached great importance to the collaboration with SARI and guaranteed to assist SARI to achieve successful completion of the projects by integrating technical strength, hoping to be useful in the follow-up progress and future implementation. Prof. HUANG appreciated their efforts and expected win-win results to be generated through this cooperation.
