International Workshop on China’s Carbon Emissions

(CCE 2015)

June 6-9, Shanghai, China

The Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in close collaboration with Harvard University, is organizing the International Workshop on China’s Carbon Emissions (CCE 2015) from June 6-9, 2015 in Shanghai, China.

Understanding of the carbon budget is one of the key issues for the earth system science, yet precise estimates of carbon sources and sinks in China remain challenges. The CCE 2015 aims to establish an international platform for the in-depth discussion and brainstorming of the current progress and future directions of China’s emission studies.

CCE 2015 will invite about 50 experts, 15 of whom are international experts. The CCE 2015 program includes the workshop from June 7-8, on-site visit of CAS laboratory and data center in Shanghai on the morning of June 9, and visit of CAS carbon utilization base at Chongming Island on the afternoon of June 9.
