Shanghai Superintense Ultrafast Laser Facility (SULF), also known as Xi-He laser facility, contains a 10 PW beamline, a 1 PW beamline, and three user experimental platforms. The facility aims to provide advanced research technique for material and life sciences. It is one of the few mega projects initiated in Shanghai to construct science and technology innovation center with global influence and world-class cluster of large research infrastructures.
