Guided by national strategic energy needs, Center for Low-Carbon Conversion Science and Engineering focuses on the research and development of natural gas industrial chain with low carbon conversion, hybrid energy system and its strategy of zero carbon emissions, as well as ecosystem carbon cycle. Four major research directions are:

a. Green carbon conversion and catalysis,

b. Hybrid energy system and engineering,

c. Carbon capture, utilization and storage,

d. Low-carbon energy development strategy and frontier low-carbon energy exploration.
