Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF)

The Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF), is a third-generation medium-energy synchrotron light source which consists of a 150MeV electron linac, a full-energy booster, a 3.5GeV electron storage ring and 16 operational beamlines. SSRF has been open to users since May 6, 2009. By the end of 2020, there have been 16 beamlines officially commissioned, including the first phase 7 beamlines with 1 branch beamline, the 5 beamlines with 6 end stations of National Center for Protein Science Shanghai and Dreamline in operation since 2015, and 2 beamlines with 3 end stations for ME2 project in operation since 2019.
