Prof. TAI Renzhong received his Bachelor and Master Degrees from Nankai University, and got his Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Comprehensive Research in Japan, majoring in synchrotron radiation. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Tokyo Sukun University and Research Center for Photonics and Quantum Science and Japan Institute of Atomic Energy.
He worked as researcher and deputy director of Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics and was appointed as Vice President of SARI in October 2018.
Prof. TAI has been engaged in the research of synchrotron radiation technology and application. His main research interests lie in the research of X-ray coherence in the fields of nanomicroscopy, nanomachining, and the characterization of the structure dynamics of nanoclusters.
