A delegation led by Chairman Acm Charlie Chandruang of Thai National Legislative Assembly visited SARI on May 15^th 2017. Prof. Huang Weiguang, Vice President of SARI and Prof. Feng Songlin, Vice Chairman of CAS Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok) received the delegation. Researchers from SARI, CAS-ICC (Bangkok) and Shanghai Engineering Center for Microsatellites attended the meeting.  

Prof. Huang welcomed the delegation on behalf of SARI and introduced SARI’s research portfolio and major projects. He pointed out that SARI attached great importance to interdisciplinary research and technology transfer and had conducted fruitful international cooperation in the last 5 years. Researchers from Shanghai Engineering Center for Microsatellites gave a brief introduction of the Center and major achievements. The two parties held heated discussion on topics of common interest such as brain gain, technology transfer, postgraduate education, etc. Chairman Acm Charlie Chandruang expressed his thanks for SARI’s hospitality and he would provide feedback to the related departments of what he learned during this trip, hoping to explore potential cooperation opportunities.  

The delegation also visited SARI’s exhibition hall during the visit.
